The solar roof of the George Robert White Environmental Conservation Center at the Boston Nature Center includes SunSlate™ shingles that convert sunlight into electricity without producing any pollution. This electricity helps to power the building and reduces the center’s electric bill by about 3% every month. The building
uses about 11,500 kilowatt hours of energy every month while the solar roof
produces about 345 kilowatt hours of energy every month. Below you can view the performance of the solar roof.
