Project Description. Duke Energy's distributed solar program is well under way in North Carolina. We're installing solar panels on the rooftops and grounds of various homes, schools, office buildings, shopping centers and warehouses - enough to power 1,300 homes.

Maple View Agricultural Center
Duke Energy dedicates the solar panels at Maple View Farm to Robert P. Nutter and Maple View Agricultural Center.  "Farmer Bob," along with the entire Agricultural Center team, are role models for future generations.  They continually dedicate their time and resources to agricultural education, preservation, and sustainability in Orange County and throughout North Carolina.
